About the Author
Ifezue Okoli is the author of Tribalizing America: The Emerging National Identity Crisis. He is a computer programmer, poet, visionary philosopher, history and current affairs enthusiast, an inventor and entrepreneur. The Writer’s Edge called him "a deep thinker and an intelligent writer".

He was born in Nigeria and spent his early childhood in Mmaku, a small town in Eastern Nigeria. Born and partly raised in a rural community, Okoli had first hand experience with poverty and lack of opportunity. He immigrated to America in the late 1991, inspired by the American ideals, the lives and deeds of Abraham Lincoln, Benjamin Franklin, and Martin Luther King Jr. His sentiment is echoed in Benjamin Franklin’s statement: “Where liberty dwells, there is my country.”

He received his early education in Eastern Nigeria, and later went to the University of Ibadan in Western Nigeria, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. On coming to the United States, he briefly attended Harold Washington College and Northwestern University College both in Chicago, Illinois, where he studied computer science. He is an avid reader, blogger and debater. He writes on political and social issues from objective and common sense and objective points of view. He is the founder of TalkingGong.Com — a social utility that lets people around the world share their stories and life experiences with other people, and to express their opinions on any topic or issue. He is also the founder of the Issuecrier, an online commentary on social and political issues. Okoli is also a philanthropist and the founder of HelpLink Foundation, a grassroots effort dedicated to practical education of the poor in the United States and Nigeria.

The author of the monumental human rescue: Tribalizing America, has again excited my faculty and set my whole system in motion with another effort that, with the little I have read, will be dangerous to ignorance, power to knowledge and a guide to redress our definition and transform our perception. Indeed, THE POWER OF DEFINITION will be a classic.

"The power of definition" is an extensively and excellently researched book with impeccable logic. The language is concise and the author's passion oozes from every sentence. Even if you don't agree with all the conclusions, you will be forced to look deeply into your soul in ways that you never imagined. I eargerly await the official release of the book and the storm that is sure to follow.

These definitions and their consequences are truly the root cause of man's inhumanity to man. Your analysis touched the fabric of all these meaningless and irrational human behaviors. Although I have not read the entire book, you are undoubtedly on the right track. This is a "must read book" by all present and future political and social gladiators.

The Power of Definition is an eye opener!

From the moment I heard the title of the book, I knew it was going to be a great read, a powerful mind liberator and an empowering tool for self realization and actualization.

From what I have read so far, it has greatly helped me with the knowledge I need to take on the world and establish who I am as a fearfully and wonderfully-made child of the Living God. And no opinion or somebody's perception of myself will ever change the image I have of myself now.

THE POWER OF DEFINITION is indeed an amazing book, with in-depth explanation of how definition of people and values is formed.
